  • "I had the pleasure of taking PSC's Pistol Diagnostics course and it was well worth the time! Jay and Company do not teach from the 'Because I said So' perspective.

Everything is explained and reasoned out to the student by the instructors. I would highly recommend PSC to any and all who want to improve their skills with firearms." - Richard S.

  • "Wanted to give a little testimonial about the time I've spent training with Jay. I didn't grow up around guns, didn't grow up shooting them so let me be the first to say I'm a novice.

Jay's philosophy to instruction is something you should consider exposing yourself to regardless of your current skill level.

The reason I say this is I taught western boxing for some years and also high performance driving so I've plenty of experience being a teacher and more importantly a student.

Let me say Jay is first and foremost a teacher and I think a great one. I've gone from really having no idea what I'm doing other than a gun has 'dangerous end' to being a decent shot.

Jay's instruction has made some pretty drastic improvements for me." - Chris S.

  • "Just took the "Advance Pistol Clinic" offered by Jay of PSC. Class started right on time, and from that point on it was nothing but business.

I consider myself a decent shot, but Jay was able to point out some areas that I needed to work on. And by the end of the class, I was already seeing a marked improvement in my shooting.

Despite the fact that the class was only four hours long. Jay made sure to hit what was important, and to "key" on what each of us was having particular problems with.

I have attended much longer classes that didn't do as much for my shooting as this four hour clinic did.

I will hopefully be able to attend one of his "classes" to really get a chance to have Jay work with me to help me to achieve a higher degree of shooting abilities. Thanks for a good clinic Jay, it was worth the drive." - Randy R.

  • "I have worked with Jay several times. He is a rock solid instructor and shooter, so my learning something is a given.

But something I think is equally important and rarely considered when choosing an instructor; Jay constantly looks gets better. As he does, his course content evolves, and not because it's the internet's latest fad but because it works.

Whether you're a new shooter or a seasoned veteran, I encourage you to consider Jay and PSC." - Mark K.

  • "Had an awesome private pistol coaching session with Jay last weekend. He was able to identify key issues with my shooting, explain and implement the necessary changes, drill and provide homework to maintain those changes.

I have also attended Carbine 1 and 2 classes. Instruction and safety are first rate. I highly recommend Protective Shooting Concepts." - Lawrence S.

  • "Took their AK Clinic. Despite being only a 4ish hour course there was plenty of shooting and learning. Instructors were very perceptive of each shooters strengths and weakness and adjusted individuals accordingly.

Good times all around. Worth the two hour drive from Erie to Beaver Valley." - Sean B.
